Rosie White
Rosie White joined the BEAR, Inc. staff as office manager and assistant to Hans Schroeder in August, 2001, when the firm moved its main office to Chico, California. Her background includes managerial and accounting positions in manufacturing, trucking, and non-profit organizations. She was with Diving Systems International, a state-of-the-art manufacturer of underwater communication and life-support systems, for 16 years.
Within the first few years, her position at BEAR evolved to project manager and valuation analyst. Rosie works closely with clients, discussing the history and nature of their business, performing site visits, and determining their valuation needs. Her years of business experience allow her to quickly see what makes a company "tick", both financially and in their market, and to understand the business's advantages and its challenges.
In 2005, Rosie completed all business valuation coursework offered by the American Society of Appraisers.
Rosie attended California State University, Chico. She received a degree in manuscript art from the Traditional Decorative Arts Academy, Topkapi Palace Museum, in Istanbul, Turkey. Her artwork has been exhibited across the country, as well as in Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. Rosie participated in the U.S. State Department's "Art in Embassies" program for three years and has given lectures and workshops at universities and museums.
In addition, Rosie is an active member of the local chapter of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America, and has served as a treasurer on the boards of several non-profit organizations. She enjoys gardening, hiking, camping and traveling.
